Blasts are commonly encountered on blood smears and can occur in a variety of conditions, including acute leukemias and myelodysplastic syndromes. Additionally, circulating lymphoma cells can often show blast-like morphologic features.

In this webinar, Dr. Kyle Bradley will speak on the cellular morphology of blasts and blast equivalents, reviewing their main characteristics and touching on the role of flow cytometry in diagnosing diseases where blasts are often seen.
