Detection of chromosomal translocations by Dual Fusion FISH probes on B cells lymphoma
Speaker : Dr. Gloria Tso, PhD, Scientific Affairs Liaison, Sysmex Asia Pacific
High-grade B cells lymphoma (HGBL) with double hits and triple hits are one of the aggressive mature B-cells lymphomas. The double and triple hits involve chromosomal rearrangement of MYC plus BCL2 and/or BCL6. Furthermore, patients carrying partnership of IG with MYC translocation are found to have higher risks. With the application of dual fusion FISH probes, MYC/IGH, MYC/IGK and MYC/IGL, we can streamline the diagnosis of HGBL-double/triple hit together with IG translocation.
