Lecture Abstract
Chronic hepatitis B (CHB) is a global health challenge that requires an effective care pathway covering diagnosis, antiviral therapy, and monitoring to prevent disease progression and liver cancer. Non-invasive markers aid in prediction and reduce reliance on invasive procedures. The simplified treatment algorithm involves initial assessments and prioritising antiviral therapy, typically using affordable nucleos(t)ide analogs (NAs) for patients with significant fibrosis or cirrhosis. Integrating non-invasive markers improves early detection, simplifies treatment, and reduces the burden of CHB and its complications.
Join us for a webinar featuring Prof. Tawesak Tanwandee, an esteemed expert in hepatology, as we discuss optimising care pathways for chronic hepatitis B (CHB).
