Key Job Purpose

  • The Systems Administrator (SA) is responsible to support the Head of Department (HOD) in the effective management of end user service operations to all affiliates in the Asia Pacific region. The SA is expected to manage the Standard Operating Environment for the region and train all IT representatives to ensure their technical competencies in completing all required ICT operations.
  • The SA will function as the primary person to manage the D-project user administration and licensing. The SA is expected to manage all ICT procurement in the region.
  • The SA will also lead the management of Emergency Laptop recovery for the region during Disaster Recovery.
  • The SA is expected to be a leader for assigned regional End users services initiatives. The resource is based in Singapore RHQ.

Responsibilities

Provide Effective Business and End Users Operations to AP Region

·       Deliver assigned ICT projects and solutions to the region within approved budget, timeline, and scope in accordance with the annual action plans and mid-term plans.

·       Conduct technical evaluation and recommendation of new SOE laptop, desktop, and accessories. Prepare and maintain the standard hardware specification documentation and distribute to the affiliate countries.

·       Manage day to day helpdesk Incident and service management in the Regional Helpdesk System to ensure tickets are attended to promptly and resolved within the SLA. Provide monthly and annual helpdesk statistics and performance reports to HOD.

·       Manage MobileIron cloud user administration for RFID and Barcode scanners’ enrolment. Support all 1st level issue related to MobileIron and escalate all 2nd level and change request to AMS vendor.

·       Support desktop team in MobileIron user administration and enrolment of new end user mobile device.

·       Manage CRM user account/license operations for the region.

·       Manage Veritas EV Cloud archival licensing administration and change request.

·       Support desktop team in Provisioning and management of Veritas EV Cloud account.

·       Manage Proofpoint Email protection licensing administration and change request.

·       Support desktop team in Proofpoint cloud user administration and all request or issues related to inbound/outbound email delivery and protection.

·       Manage TrendMicro licensing administration for the region.

·       Support HOD/IT manager in TrendMicro Cloud system escalation, integration, alert monitoring, investigation and change request.

·       Manage Druva Insyc Cloud licensing administration and change requests for the region.

·       Support desktop team in Druva backup related issues and escalate to Druva support where necessary.

·       Support desktop team in computer hardware and software related issues.

·       Support desktop team in Install, configure and troubleshoot of Enterprise Cloud applications deployed in the region.

·       Support desktop team in Exchange Online administration of distribution list, email delegation, forwarding, mail flow and mailbox creation.

·       Support desktop team in Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot of office facilities for all Singapore sites.

·       Support desktop team in Staff Joiner and leaver account creation in the region.

·       Support desktop team in new staff computer and mobile device setup and configuration in Singapore sites.

·       Support desktop team in monthly wireless guest password update through the wireless guest portal.

·       Plan desktop hardware refresh for the region.

·       Manage the creation and maintain the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) for the regions.

·       Provide training to regional IT representatives to ensure procedural and technical competencies in their daily activities.

·       Prepare and maintain the assigned ICT Policies, procedure, and manuals.

·       Manage and administer licensing for all Enterprise applications deployed in the region.

·       Support IT HOD in license management and compliance operations for the region.

·       Support Regional Cybersecurity team in incident management and forensic.

·       Contribute to the company’s Regional Disaster Recovery and Lead Emergency Laptop recall and recovery in the region.

·       Perform annual forecasting and assist in annual budgeting exercise.

·       Provide monthly updates and status reports to the HOD.

·       Perform other duties as assigned by the HOD.

D-Project ICT Support & Operations

·       Manage D-project user account creation request from Internal and external vendor. Ensure proper approval is received and escalate to AMS team for creation.

·       Support or escalate end users’ HEC account login issue.

·       Perform D-project user account termination process.

·       Support HOD in user account audit and licensing measurement processes.

·       Provision, support and manage IoT devices through MobileIron cloud.

Inventory Management and ICT Procurement

·       Manage up to-date ICT inventory for the region, with the support of Desktop and Systems teams.

·       Manage ICT inventory audit for the region.

·       Manage ICT procurement for the region.

·       Manage department disposal operations (Singapore).

Requirements

Minimum Education Required: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in information technology (or equivalent proven knowledge with work experience)
Minimum Experience Required: Min 3 years IT Experience in end-user MNC environment focusing on end user computing, systems, cloud infrastructure support. Technically strong in enterprise IT systems.
Skills and Knowledge Required: ·       Sound experience in working in a regional IT Team in a MNC RHQ shared services environment with remote end-user support.

·       Proficient in end user desktop computing, Microsoft operating systems. Prior experience in Microsoft office 365, Azure IaaS and Unified Endpoint Management will be added advantage.

·       Sound knowledge in ITIL V3/V4 processes.

·       Good interpersonal communication and coordination skills.

·       Able to communicate effectively primarily fluent in English (a second Asian language can be a bonus)

·       Ability to work under pressure and within agreed timeline.

Attitude Required: ·       Pleasant personality with integrity. Self-starter. Work independently and adhere to deadlines. Meticulous.
Knowledge Desired but not Essential: ·       Project Management certification (CITPM, PMP or PRINCE)
Travel Requirement: ·       Traveling to countries in Asia Pacific region is expected on a need and project basis
Others: ·       May need to work on weekends or public holidays if required
