Key Job Purpose

Provide support, guidance and develop team members to be the bridge between technical support team and business users from accessing business objectives to determining the right solution (both physical business processes and/or technical solutions) to project management and implementation.

 

Support and guide team members in communicating, analyzing, designing and implementing holistic and feasible cross-business functions solutions with Business applications (SAP (S4/HANA), Process Orchestration/Integration (PO/PI), Global Trade Security (GTS), Concur, MDG, CRM and other related systems) to address business needs in the areas of Logistics, Sales, Service, Production and finance.

 

To develop documentations, or to support Business Stakeholder and BPE, Functional and Technical Consultants to deliver documentations, relevant to the business and system, such as AS-IS & TO-BE processes & system design, Technical configuration, Key user training, test plan, test scenarios, test scripts, step list, data migration plan, and System Cutover plan.

 

Be able to review and improve efficiency of internal processes with the use of technologies, such as SAP (S4/HANA) system, according to our Business Application Change Management Framework (BACM).

 

Manage and/or support Global and Regional Projects related to the Business Applications under the care of BAM department.

 

Support production issues reported by Key users, log and monitor issues on SAP support helpdesk and liaise with SAP support team members (such as Support Consultants, BAM, BPE) to resolve system issues. Making sure Root Cause Analysis with long-term issue resolution are provided by SAP Support team members.

 

Ensure that all system changes in Business Applications which are Computer System Validation (CSV) Standard will remain compliant and support Internal and External Auditor during the Audit.

 

He/ She will lead and manage the internal and external teams of BIS-SAP resources to deliver system goals set by Management; such as new Business Application implementation, Change request, Enhancements of the Business Application and Business Processes. He/ She will support Knowledge Acquisition of any new skillset required for BAM team to be able to support the Business.

Tech-Support

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Implementation of the SAP (S4/HANA), Process Orchestration/Integration (PO/PI), Global Trade Security (GTS), Concur, MDG, CRM and other related systems.
  • Assessing Business Objectives and justification against all Business Requirement, or leading Business Stakeholders, BPE, BAM and Consultants to assess the Business needs against any enhancement in the systems. And recommend according to the needs.
  • Collaborate and lead the team of BAM to collaborate with Business Stakeholders and BPE throughout any new implementation and Change Request Implementation. This is so that the team are aligned and have common understanding of the Business Requirement, and drive the team to deliver the “Best Fit” solution efficiently and with feasible ROI.
  • Be able to advise Key and End users all standards (Functional and Technical aspect) in the Global and AP regional SAP (S4/HANA, GTS) business Application, and according to any Global template if relevant. This is to ensure that all solution put in place for the Business Applications follow such standards.
  • Be able to translate Functional & Technical Concepts for Business audiences, or managing External Consulting team to translate the Concepts accordingly
  • Manage the team of BAM, BPE and support consultants to resolve and manage SAP S4HA/HA, GTS, MDG and PO/PI issues and according to CSV standard.
  • Assist CFO to develop the team of Business Process Experts in technical knowledge base development and keep it updated periodically.
  • Assist direct supervisor in the development of mid- to long-term plan and strategy to keep assigned Business Application up-to-date, usable and scalable.
  • Support direct supervisor in the career development of the internal BAM-S4 team.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering  or equivalent
  • At least 15 years of experience in implementing SAP system;
  • At least 8 years as a team lead to manage resources in delivering SAP related implementation and support after system go live
  • At least 10 complete life cycle of implementation in SAP system and at least 5 projects with integration of SAP system to other Business Applications;
  • MS Office – Word, Excel (include Pivot table), PowerPoint
  • Positive, Take initiative, welling to learn, efficient at work
  • Project or Visio
  • Travel Requirement: 40-50% a year
