In anticipation of increased demand for testing in India’s high-growth market, Sysmex has decided to construct this new manufacturing base in order to ensure a stable supply of products in the medium- to long-term through maintenance and expansion of the existing manufacturing structure. It will have the manufacturing capacity and scalability to allow for rapidly increasing demand and an expanded product line-up in the future. It is also planned to enable manufacturing of some devices and to have a parts procurement function. Key concepts include high quality, high efficiency manufacturing, and environmental considerations such as the installation of a zero liquid discharge system aiming to eliminate water discharge outside the factory site.
